Festival du Court Amoureux
Concept of a advertisement campaign for a fictional short film festival : Festival du court amoureux.
The festival du Court Amoureux is a yearly festival which happens on Valentine's day week. During this week, the city of Paris create several events around the festival to gather people all together. I had to design the visual identity of the festival and an advertisement campaign and think about a whole concept which will work out throughout the years.
For the identity, I decided to play with the stereotype of love such as the heart, the colours (Red, pastel pink, pink) and an handwritten typeface that reminds love letters.
Each year, the Paris Town Hall will collaborate with an art school and a famous artist to create their visual.
For their first year, Paris associated with the photographer duo Pierre et Gilles and an art school. The school and the artists collaborated with each other to design poster that can be implemented on differents printed and digital materials.
The digital campaign is mostly an "instagram campaign". In fact, during and after the festival, the instagram account of the festival will be flooded with many posts such as pictures, reels, stories, snack contents or IGTV about the backstage of the festival, pictures of paris, little love stories and the happennings.
As I said it above, there will be happenings throughout Paris such as a giant heart shape hot-air balloon and projection of our logo on walls, buildings and famous monuments of the city.
Love is full of cliché but this is what gives it its charms !
